The Inspection Sales/Account Manager role demands a customer-centric and results-oriented approach. This individual must exhibit strong organizational capabilities and demonstrate proficiency in navigating complex environments to ensure client satisfaction and operational success.
Job Responsibilities
Proactively engage with potential qualified buyers of inspection services by efficiently scheduling sales calls, promptly following up on leads, and executing well-defined marketing strategies. Identify customer requirements by conducting thorough site surveys and discussing findings with relevant customer personnel. Craft and deliver compelling proposals that address customer life safety needs. Play a vital role in shaping the pricing strategy for inspection accounts. Oversee and report on the Western States Fire Protection sales business plan and participate in monthly sales meetings. Take responsibility for comprehending the assigned market and reporting on business dynamics, including market share, competition, top customers, and prospects within the designated geographic area. Develop and maintain an active proposal pipeline to support the established sales business plan. Cultivate and maintain strong, lasting customer relationships that exceed customer expectations. Collaborate with Western States Fire Protection and APi Group teams to support relevant initiatives within your territory. Consistently adhere to the Western States Fire Protection Operating Code.Job Qualifications
A minimum of 5 years of sales experience is required. Experience in the fire and life safety industry or building services and maintenance is advantageous. Exceptional oral and written communication skills are essential. Demonstrated ability to present information and effectively respond to inquiries from managers, customers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), and the general public. Experience in business development and/or marketing is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required.
