Job Title:  Inspection Sales Manager

The primary function of this role is to manage all aspects of Branch Office Inspection Sales that includes hiring, training and supervision of Inspection Sales Representatives.  The Company goal is to continuously grow the revenues of Inspections and while maintaining profits, satisfying customer’s requirements and staying compliant with the NFPA guidelines.     This job requires a high energy level with a desire to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment with a focus on sales, prospecting for new clients, personnel management, and customer service. It will require travel to the Branch Offices, customer sites and trade shows.  

 Essential Duties / Responsibilities: 

Primary duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 

Develop sales budgets. Ensure that each Inspection Sales Rep. meets or exceeds sales budgets. Develop and monitor weekly quoting, sales, and prospecting activity utilizing our internal CRMx Program. Responsible for training and coaching the Inspection Sales Reps. to identify and develop new customer accounts and prospect. Actively participate in resolving customer problems when necessary. Perform employee evaluations to identify areas of improvement and implement necessary development and training programs. Perform ride-a longs with Inspection Sales Reps. during sales and prospecting calls to customer sites. Work with along with Sales Reps in their branch office. Attend trade shows and industry functions to maximize market penetration.

 Education / Work Experience:

Heavy travel is required High School Diploma or GED is required. Supervisory experience required. 10+ years’ experience in Fire Protection Sales. Associate’s degree is required. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred. Previous Fire Protection Design experience is a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Sales Force applications is required. Excellent customer service skills are required. Ability to search and “hunt” for opportunities is required. Demonstration of a positive attitude is required.

 Computer Skills:

Computer Skills:  Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience using Sales Force.
