Human Resource Contact: Molly Skala /molly.skala@wyo.gov ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The listed functions are illustrative only and are not intended to describe every function which may be performed at the job level. + Works with operators to ensure compliance with agency rules, agency orders, and permit stipulations. + Provides technical assistance to public and private interests regarding regulations and practices. + Responds to complaints and disputes. + Provides investigation and/or documentation for non-compliance issues. + Interacts with other state and federal agency officials. + Helps provide input on new regulations when necessary. + Witnesses tests and operations. Qualifications PREFERENCES: Preference may be given to someone with 5+ years of Oil and Gas Industry experience. KNOWLEDGE: + Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local laws. + Knowledge of agency policies and procedures. + Knowledge of methods and techniques of inspections and investigations. + Knowledge of office procedures, practices, and equipment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's Degree Experience: 0-1 year of progressive work experience (typically in Inspection) OR Education & Experience Substitution: 3-4 years of progressive work experience (typically in Inspection) Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: None Necessary Special Requirements PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: + Works in hazardous conditions NOTES: + FLSA: Non-exempt + The job location may vary at the discretion of the hiring manager.
