A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Inspector 3 you will support internal and external customers for items requiring inspection. You will use several hand tools and equipment (Comparator, Mitutoyo Surface Tester, Digimatic Height Gauge) to confirm parts are made to print. Inspectors are responsible for accepting or rejecting material and moving the material to the next step owner. You will make an impact by : + Performing first detailed inspection of incoming or purged parts, materials, components, assemblies, equipment, and document results + Coordinating the collection and disposition of purged material + Determine or assists in determining methods, sequences and procedures necessary for inspection + Work from written procedures, drawings, sketches and specifications + Generate Engineering Change Requests to correct drawing issues noted during inspection + Adapt inspection measuring devices and procedures where necessary Skills you bring: + 4+ years of related experience preferred + Completion of high school, vocational training or equivalent is preferred + Ability to perform activities such as sitting, standing, or typing for extended periods of time + Occasionally moves/positions objects up to 25 lbs + Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand + Ability to observe documents and details at close range (within a few feet) + Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards, including handling mechanical and electrical hardware, high voltage, gas, water, and heat #LI-TW1 Globally, our policy is to recruit individuals from wide and diverse backgrounds.
