As an Inspector II, you will inspect electrical/mechanical parts dimensionally, functionally and visually to established procedures. Audit processes and/or systems using established procedures. Provide training, knowledge, and guidance in the use and interpretation of inspection criteria (may be in Receiving, In-process or Final Inspection). Based in our Shakopee location, you will work second shift, Monday-Thursday (3:00pm-1:30am).
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
Assures Conformance to complex specifications by verifying electrical/mechanical parts dimensionally, functionally and and/or visually per established procedures, i.e. flatness, parallelism, concentricity, ohms, volts, amps. Demonstrates a proven understanding of: Blueprints and military specifications. Inspections tools and test equipment (i.e. coordinated measuring machine, optical comparator, Positive Material Identification (PMI), fixed or special gauges and/or test equipment and fixtures, surface plate, power sources, oscilloscope). Has the skills required to perform all inspection set-ups. Basic math skills Statistical Process Control (SPC) Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing principles & Electrical principles Basic coordinated measurement machine programming Monitors the MRB area and processes rejected material, utilizing the Oracle Quality Module, in accordance with established procedures. Takes initiative to identify and resolve root causes of problems relating to inspection procedures, dispositioning of defective material or problems with parts received. Develops and conducts training as required. Performs complex first articles Employs SPC techniques and takes appropriate action. Leads activities to establish or improve feedback process and get feedback on inspection and supplier performance. Performs source inspection and process audits as required. May assist in calibration, inventory control and maintenance of controlled gauges, instruments and tooling specified by standards. Train/Test for American Society for Quality (ASQ) CMI and/or IPC 610. Coordinates efforts with other work groups in understanding inspection methods/issues. Responsible for the establishment and improvement of the feedback processes involving inspection and supplier performance. Performs miscellaneous duties as required.Who You Are:

For this Role, You Will Need:
Six (6) years related experience, including three (3) years of inspection experience High School diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED). American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI) certification preferred.
