As a CMM Inspector Level IV here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of our products through the use of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). You will be responsible for performing complex inspections, analyzing measurement data, and providing detailed reports to support our manufacturing processes. Your expertise in CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of measurement results will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and precision.

You'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location at Sky Harbor.

\n

In this role, you will have a direct impact on the quality and reliability of our products, ensuring that they meet or exceed customer expectations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

\n

Key Responsibilities

\n\nPerform complex inspections using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure the quality and accuracy of our products.\nDevelop and implement CMM programs for inspection and measurement.\nAnalyze measurement data and interpret results to identify quality issues and trends.\nGenerate detailed inspection reports and documentation.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.\nParticipate in process improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.\n\n

All applicants for placement in DOT/FAA safety-sensitive positions will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug test, testing for Marijuana, Cocaine, Amphetamines (amphetamine, methamphetamine, MDMA, MDA), Phencyclidine (PCP), and Opioids (codeine, heroin, morphine, oxycodone, oxymorphone, hydrocodone, hydromorphone). The DOT/FAA regulations require all employees, regular and temporary, in safety-sensitive positions, to be included in the Honeywell Anti-drug and Alcohol Misuse Prevention Plan.

U.S. Person Requirements

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

YOU MUST HAVE

\n\nMinimum of 5 years of experience as a CMM Inspector.\nStrong knowledge and experience in CMM programming, operation, and interpretation of measurement results.\nProficiency in using CMM software and equipment.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nAttention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.\n\n

WE VALUE

\n\nAssociate's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.\nASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) certification.\nExperience in aerospace or manufacturing industry.\nKnowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nFAA Repair and Overhaul (R&O) experience.\nA&P License.\n\n
