The successful applicant will help ensure effective operations of the 300mm research line at our Albany NY facility dedicated to semiconductor research and development. Applicants will be part of a team driving the specification, design and installation of state-of-the-art Semiconductor process and measurement equipment. They will support successful daily operations of the facilities, fab support systems and existing tooling to achieve critical research deliverables and ensure a safe fab environment. In this role engineers will work collaboratively with IBM development teams, tooling vendors, and site facilities to meet challenging installation timelines for new tooling and upgrades with a focus on ensuring both technical and safety requirements are met. The team is responsible for end-to-end tooling definition from concept to installation. This role provides the opportunity to join a world class team responsible for defining and delivering 2nm and beyond technology and the required infrastructure to support IBM Research and its partners.
