Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking Installation Coordinator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling, management of certifications, credentialing, and training plans for the installation team colleagues. You will provide administrative support for items such as labor compliance, performance reviews, bid qualifications, etc. This is not a position where there will be time in the field regarding quality assurance, mentoring, or technical guidance. Though a strong understanding of the activities in the field will be advantageous in determining how to manage assignments of the team members. As an Installation Coordinator, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”
Convergint's greatest strength is our people! Acts as the interface for Project Managers for all resource needs. Ascertains what type of resources are required, the length of the assignment and other details to ensure a successful project installation. Optimizes assignments to ensure correct assignments and maximizes resource utilization. Supports schedule changes such as fast track projects, colleagues calling in sick, changes in priorities, etc. Assigns team members to projects and maintains the team’s schedule. Organizes and manages the credentials and certifications for the installers. Identifies gaps in our current team’s qualifications and develop a training plan to address the gaps. Processes timesheets. Develops training plans, perform performance reviews. Participates in the recruitment process. Supports administrative requirements such as prevailing wage, bid qualifications, labor estimation for bids when consulted. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.
What You’ll Need
Solid construction skills and understanding of system plans. Understanding of blueprints, design drawings including wiring and labeling methods, system wiring, wiring methods, and cable support installation. Excellent customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted. Solid organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects tasks simultaneously. Excellent attention to detail. Solid verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Solid ability to facilitate a collaborative working environment for customers and team members.

Requirements:
Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience
Minimum Experience: 1+ years of administrative support or relevant field
Previous experience in maintaining and registering in industry state licensing programsPreferred Experience: (but not required):
Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic/electrical, fire alarm & life safety, data-cable installation and/or building automation
