We are working with a Major Oil & Gas operator to source for Installation Coordinator specialising in offshore compression. This is a long-term contract role working on a residential basis 6-days per week / 10 hours per day. Please see details below:
Title: Installation Coordinator
Start Date: Negotiable (typically within 1 month notice)
Duration: 36 months (potential for extension)
Location: Onshore (site based)
Working Schedule: 6-days per week / 10 hours per day
Job Purpose:
Project Management Team (PMT) member responsible for coordination of various fixed facilities Transportation and Installation (T&I) related activities.
Key Accountabilities: Reports to T&I Lead Coordinate activities between Company, MWS and EPC Contractor related to vessels and equipment preparation, inspection, testing approval and mobilization for loadout, seafastening, transportation and installation. Support Vessel Management Team (VMT) related to vessel suitability surveys, marine unit approvals, SIMOPS and PTW. Ensure operations are executed safely and in compliance with contract agreement, industry standards and best practices. Support engineering on procedure development, constructability reviews and risk assessment. Qualifications: Preferred Engineering Degree\Diploma or relevant on the job experience Extensive experience in construction completions as a leadership and supervisory role.
Job Context & Major Challenge(s):
Very large compression and living quarters platforms fabricated in Far East, loaded out and transported to Middle East onboard self-propelled vessel and barges, installed by various methods including heavy lifting, launching and floatover at existing gas production complex.
Knowledge and/or Experience:
Technical & Business Skills: Marine, Naval, Mechanical or similar engineering degree Good communication and interpersonal relationships, coordination and interfacing skills Minimum 8 years of experience in offshore construction as methods and field engineer or similar role, on transportation and installation of fixed platforms including heavy lifting operations (alternatively, pipelines, subsea and floating facilities).
