Our dedicated and tenured analyst, sales, and trading teams provide comprehensive, award winning research coverage and client service of over 700 stocks, including long standing partnerships with corporate management teams and institutional money managers.
We are seeking a client service individual who is highly driven and successful at managing multiple priorities. An Institutional Equities Coordinator works within the sales team to provide a high level of client service and support while influencing and coordinating client interactions and managing the completion of that activity. Individuals with a desire to work in a face-paced and team-oriented environment will thrive.
As an Institutional Equities Coordinator, you may:
Drive client engagement and participation to client meetings in partnership with sales team (NDRs, conferences, field trips, company visits, dinners, etc.).
Lead the client marketing process from start to finish, including client outreach, meeting confirmation, obtain client feedback, and client recap.
Manage the complete client resource report process from start to finish, ensuring accurate data presentable for client review.
Respond promptly and accurately to client needs, directly communicating with clients to assist sales as needed.
Build relationships with external client and their support teams, including in-person and phone, email.
Manage a dynamic sales team calendar: client outreach, marketing meetings, track travel, internal meetings, and special events to ensure proper coverage and execution of all meetings.
Prepare client materials, compile research notes, record portfolio holdings, etc. to help sales focus on client needs.
Develop and maintain relationships with associates in Corporate Access, Conference Services, Trading, Research, Equity Capital Markets, and the client service team.
Manage scheduling and logistics for full days of meetings with Baird clients. Includes preparing detailed itineraries, arranging flights, hotels, catering, group events, car service, A/V, etc. for several days per week.
Work with sales brokers to enhance the institutional CRM system, updating client records using a variety of tools to improve accuracy.
Perform Word and Excel functions of moderate complexity.
Answer multiple phone lines and/or initiate calls for clients, providing information or referring callers to the proper team and answering inquiries requiring a knowledge of the department’s overall functions.
Process expense reports, checking for accuracy and appropriate receipts to ensure prompt payment.

What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree preferred and a minimum of 1-5 years of experience performing support functions. Industry experience helpful. Series 7 and 66/63 are supported and encouraged.

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision.
Excellent PC skills – advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience utilizing pivot tables strongly preferred.
