**Job Description:**
At Regions, the Institutional Services Relationship Consultant has the primary function of direct contact with external account holders. This position oversees the client administration and acquisition of Corporate Trust and Institutional Trust accounts.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Oversees client relationships on an assigned book of trust accounts
+ Prospects and develops internal and external business networks to identify opportunities to enhance the profitability of the trust book of business, when applicable
+ Consults on moderately complex client relationships and develops customized solutions based upon subject matter expertise, requiring guidance only for the most complex client relationships
+ Manages the set-up, implementation, and administration of trusts, ensuring account administration follows fiduciary principles
+ Oversees the account opening process for all new Investment Management and Trust (IM&T) business
+ Supplies Portfolio Managers with documentation of non-standard asset reviews for Annual Investment reviews and leads the investment review exceptions process
+ Facilitates the non-discretionary and discretionary distribution processes with approval authority of $25,000 or less
+ Handles annual tax coordination, fee set up, and daily cash management
+ Instructs the designated person or unit on the disposition of check(s) from their assigned trust accounts
+ Serves as a partner to Wealth Management associates in the field, specializing in Retirement, Endowments & Foundations, Custody, Asset Management, or Funeral Trust services
+ Coordinates administrative functions with attorneys, co-trustees, investment advisors, and CPAs
+ Remains abreast with industry trends to ensure prudent administration and investment management
+ Assists with special projects as needed, and takes lead on non-standard work
+ Performs duties in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures and Institutional Services Program Documents and Procedures and all applicable external regulations
This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.
**Requirements**
+ Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of Trust or closely related experience OR
+ High School Diploma and seven (7) years of Trust or closely related experience
**Preferences**
+ Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
+ Experience in Trust Administration and Institutional/Retirement Services Administration
+ Experience in Transactions including GST, 65-day elections, LLC’s and Partnerships, Decantings or Modifications, and 5/5 Powers
+ Experience with Trust accounting
+ Familiarity with governing/applicable laws and regulations
+ Professional designations and/or certifications

**Additional Responsibilities:**
+ Serves as a subject matter expert on charitable and non-profit community issues, opportunities, trends, and may collaborate on white papers
+ Keeps abreast of the charitable and non-profit industry which may include local involvement in organizations
**Experience with Endowments, Foundations, or Charitable Giving strongly preferred**

**Compensation Details**
Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role. As these factors vary by individuals, pay will also vary among individual associates within the same job.
The target information listed below is based on the Metropolitan Statistical Area Market Range for where the position is located and level of the position.
