As a Vice President in the Institutional Structuring and Solutions team, you will focus on rates solutions while gaining exposure to Credit and Equities. Based in London, you will be directly involved in the origination, development, and execution of structured rates transactions with partners across the firm.
Job Responsibilities:
Partner with UK & Continental Europe Rates Sales and Rates Trading to develop rates solutions for institutional clients such as insurance companies, banks, asset managers, and pension funds. Focus on transactions including asset-side investment opportunities (e.g., structured notes, SPV repacks), strategic and tactical asset-liability hedging, structured financing, and risk recycling. Support the entire life cycle of a trade, from origination to execution, moving along either the entire process or certain parts of it. Price, structure, and execute bespoke transactions, drive platform and payoff innovation, and interface with clients. Collaborate with sales, trading, global structuring, credit risk, legal, accounting, tax, and other internal functions, building personal and effective partnerships with key stakeholders.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, or Science. At least 5 years of relevant experience in the structured rates solutions space. Experience with structured delivery mechanisms including SPV issuances and repacks. Extensive knowledge in XVA, capital, discounting risk, and other pricing components associated with rates products. Strong quantitative and analytical abilities balanced with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to synthesize and present complex concepts to both internal stakeholders and investor types appropriately. Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Strong team player who partners well within the team and with key stakeholders.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Fluency in one or multiple European languages. Full proficiency in rates derivatives and structured products. Sound understanding of legal, accounting, and regulatory constraints of institutional clients. Programming skills in addition to high proficiency in Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint.
