Instock Management Specialist, ISM, Consumables
Amazon Mexico's Consumables Retail team is looking for a data-driven, customer-obsessed, hands-on and creative candidate to join our team as an Instock Management Specialist (ISM).

As an ISM, you will lead key initiatives to ensure inventory health within our business, focusing on supply chain optimization and operational excellence. You will provide critical support to drive business growth through detailed analysis of business and supply chain inefficiencies, identify solutions, propose changes to operational processes, and drive high standards in customer satisfaction through improved product availability.

You'll be responsible for forecasting and demand planning, inventory health management, and operational process improvements. Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work cross-functionally with various stakeholders including vendors, transportation, and fulfillment centers.

Key job responsibilities
Amazon Mexico's Consumables Retail team is seeking an Instock Management Specialist (ISM) to join our team. In this role, you will:

Key Responsibilities:

Lead CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) processes, including monthly, quarterly, and yearly forecast alignment
Manage and optimize buying input parameters to ensure accurate automated ordering
Execute proactive PO management to reduce Stock-out Rate of Out-of-Stock (SoROOS)
Provide logistics assistance and monitor pick-up/delivery tracking to reduce Vendor Lead Time
Implement inventory management strategies to reduce excess and damaged inventory
Participate in operational improvement initiatives, including annual Kaizen events
Drive adoption of operational efficiency programs
Develop and deliver training to facilitate knowledge transfer and tool adoption

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools
Experience with supply chain operations and inventory management
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Comfortable learning new technologies and processes quickly
