Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED AND One year of experience working in an instructional/childcare setting OR One year of experience required at the lower level Instruction Parprofessional 1 (EDS010) or position equivalent. Salary/Benefits: Annual salary range $24,500 (minimum) to $34,500 (maximum), based on degree and creditable years of experience. This is a 10 month position paid on 12 months. Preference will be given to applicants who, in addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, possess one or more of the following: *Experience as a paraprofessional *Experience working with deaf/hard of hearing students * Applicants must exhibit the ability to communicate in American Sign Language during the interview with the expectation of obtaining an American Sign Language Proficiency Instrument (ASLPI) rating of 3 or above within three years from date of hire.
