RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist students with disabilities in general classrooms with assignments, accommodations, and other IEP specified support Assist classroom teacher with monitoring progress on assignments and developing necessary materials or manipulative objects to assist with instructional strategies  Work with collaborative teachers as assigned or deemed appropriate

REQUIREMENT

Must be a high school graduate or hold a GED certificate or have a minimum of 60 hours from an accredited college or university Must have experience related to working with students Must possess the ability to work well with others Flexibility in working with the total education team is necessary Must maintain confidentiality Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing Some lifting and physical assistance with students may be required Ability to move books, media equipment, assistive technology equipment and other classroom equipment
