Instructional Design Specialist, Learning & Development

Job Description This position will work closely with key business leaders, stakeholders, and other learning professionals to support or lead the design, development, deployment and monitoring of learning programs and initiatives. The core responsibilities include designing, developing, deploying learning assets, as well as post-implementation support. Specific responsibilities include: + Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to end-to-end learning solutions. + Assess learning gaps, and design engaging, relevant, and effective learning solutions in an agile and collaborative manner. + Design, develop, and implement learning solutions, including maintenance and on-going measurement. + Participate in the PSEQ Learning Advisory Board as needed. + Support the PSEQ Strategic Learning organization in continuing to drive a culture of purposeful and experiential learning experiences and environments. + Keep current on best practices in instructional design. + Work with the implementation team to launch solutions via the iLearn platform. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required. + Degree or certification in instructional design and/or learning technologies is required. + Expertise in rapid instructional design development and use of development tools such as Articulate, Vyond, Canva, and video editing software. + 2+ years in adult education, learning and development is required. + Experience with UX, Design Thinking, LXP Management a plus. + Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients a plus. + Strong organization skills, project management, critical thinking, time management, quick-to-learn, open-minded and global mindset.
