As a member of the Equifax University Team, the Instructional Designer will have the opportunity to advance and refine ongoing developmental training opportunities for various roles across Equifax USIS, with a strong focus on Sales roles. They will be responsible for generating effective, engaging training content through working closely with Leaders and Partners to diagnose learning needs, identify appropriate training solutions, and design and develop learning experiences to facilitate achievement of the business unit’s goals.
What you’ll do
Lead projects and influence leadership and stakeholders, primarily across the USIS sales organization
Consult and collaborate with subject matter experts on course design and development for skills, products, tools, and industry acumen
Investigate available training methods and procedures to determine the most effective manner by which to meet specific learning needs
Develop new learning experiences including instructor-led courses, interactive eLearning, and practical application exercises using modern tools and techniques and adult learning best practices
Collaborate with instructional designers to create, refine, and maintain learning experience governance, templates, and standards
Measure and track learning completions, feedback, and ROI to drive future training prioritizations
What experience you needMinimum 5 years of professional experience, particularly learning development experience in a corporate environment, preferably in Technology, Financial Services or Sales organizations
Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instructional Designer
Demonstrated knowledge of current training and adult learning theories and practices, instructional design models, and e-learning standards (e.g. SCORM, ADDIE, SAM)
Experience with consultation and the assessment of learning needs, proposing, designing, developing, delivering and measuring success of learning solutions
Ability to perform research and ask smart questions to learn new content and concepts quickly, as you may be developing training on advanced concepts or products previously unfamiliar
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts concisely and clearly and to convert technical or complex information and concepts into easily understandable content
Strong organizational, communications, relationship and project management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines, manage multiple projects, and prioritize tasks; ability to work with cross functional teams and leaders at all levels
Collaboration skills including the ability to integrate and act upon the diverse perspectives of business unit managers, instructional designers, corporate HR and external vendors
Strong eye for modern design aesthetic and an ability to follow a style guide and governance to maintain brand and learner experience
Proficiency with eLearning, video editing, and presentation software - Articulate 360 including Rise and Storyline required.
Business acumen and understanding of the impact of training on overall corporate performance
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Consistent with Equifax’s 3/2+2 flexible work framework, a willingness to work Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday in Equifax’s Atlanta-based office
What could set you apartBachelor’s degree in related discipline
Previous experience and/or knowledge of B2B selling principles and the ability to understand the challenges that the sales team encounters is a plus
Experience with Camtasia
Experience as an LMS administrator, preferably Brainshark
