Job Description

We are the Employee Enablement Solutions Team (EES) in Corporate IT, where we champion the technology needs of our Visa staff. Our mission is to drive exceptional quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of services to our users and business functions. Our vision is to evolve faster than the challenges, fill gaps that are yet unknown, and not only see around walls but knock them down. We have an exciting new position for an Instructional Designer.  

We are looking for a hardworking professional who will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering compelling and innovative learning products and experiences for Visa employees. In this role, you will apply your expertise in instructional design and demonstrate excellence in crafting modern learning solutions that drive business impact and performance. 

Essential Functions: 

Build engaging, informational, and visually compelling learning experiences Use appropriate software and systems to create user instructions and guides (e.g., Adobe Acrobat, Abode Illustrator, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Camtasia etc.) Create immersive, engaging, and effective learning experiences for classroom, video, online delivery, self-study, performance support, etc. Adapt instructional materials to meet multiple channel requirements (e.g., workshop, video, webinar, eLearning, and toolkit Draw on a variety of instructional design methodologies and technologies to innovate new learning solutions Demonstrate proficiency in multiple learning formats, including layouts, templates, animations, and a diverse array of assets, to support our global audience Work closely with subject matter experts, trainers, and other stakeholders to develop and refine the training programs Identify potential learning gaps and/or needs of employees  

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. 

The standard working hours for this role currently are from 5:00 pm to 2:00 am, local Manila time. When the work necessitates it, you may be required to work outside of the prescribed work hours.  Visa reserves the right to adjust the standard working hours in future based on the business requirements

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

2 years relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree, OR 5 years relevant work experience

Demonstrated proficiency in instructional design principles, processes and methodologiesStrong attention to details and commitment to producing high-quality workKeen focus on the user experience and alignment to broader business strategiesAbility to comprehend and translate complex technical concepts into terms that are easy to understand for technical and non-technical audiencesAble to manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritize the tasks to complete the various projectsComfortable with ambiguity and rapidly changing contentProficient in creating training videos with Camtasia, Adobe Premiere or other video creation softwareKnowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and how to integrate instructional materials into these systemsStrong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products requiredStrong English verbal and written communication skills
