Join Our Team as an Instructional Designer We are seeking an Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to fostering employee education and planning across various departments within our company. The successful candidate will be instrumental in designing, developing, and delivering engaging learning solutions for our employees, and recommending training strategies and enhancements to our business units. Responsibilities: + Designs, creates, or updates documents, presentations, and videos utilizing eLearning and video software to provide reference documentation or content for instructor-led and eLearning courses. Analyzes business needs and recommends appropriate learning solutions; designs, develops, and delivers courses utilizing a full menu of delivery options including instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, and blended learning solutions. Creates processes, systems, role-specific, and/or special project training content for initiatives across the organization. Oversees the creation of training materials to maintain consistent branding and messaging. Contributes to the development of materials for company events; analyzes the effectiveness of training programs and focuses on ongoing improvement using recorded metrics. Develop and update content for processes and systems; works with learning management system administrator to track and report results of all training programs to key stakeholders; builds effective relationships at all levels of the organization to ensure quality training is provided in support of business objectives. Identifies and executes learning initiatives with department leadership and content subject matter experts; understands operational procedures to develop and execute training plans. Manages multiple projects through appropriate milestones and deadlines. Documents and communicates project updates and risks. + Conducts classroom training, both virtual and in-person, covering customer interaction toolkits, software systems, knowledge base resources and coaching tools. Employs a range of training methods, including role-playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, polls, videos, and bite-sized lectures, for participant engagement. Identifies areas of opportunities within the training curriculum through trending patterns in new hire behavior, exam scores, and survey feedback. Initiates ticketing process for document and presentation updates to maintain and improve curriculum as needed. As the subject matter expert, provides feedback and approval during the internal review process for content being created or updated. Monitors, assesses, and measures classroom learning outcomes and participant behaviors, preparing detailed progress reports for departmental leaders. Conducts post-training surveys and communicates skill, knowledge, and behavior results to key stakeholders. Develops and implements coaching and follow-up training plans as necessary. + Reviews and analyzes internal recorded calls, offers coaching and feedback to employees and departments. Recommends best practices and guidelines by identifying areas for improvement (i.e., employee demeanor, accuracy, adherence to policy, etc.) during issue resolution. Participates in monthly Quality Assurance meetings to ensure training content aligns with scoring expectations. Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, public relations, communication, business, or a related field or three (3) years of experience in a training role required. + Minimum of two (2) years of experience in rapid eLearning development using authoring tools such as Articulate 360 Suite and Adobe Captivate. + Minimum of two (2) years of experience with virtual delivery programs. + Minimum of two (2) years of experience in creating and editing video tutorials using software such as Camtasia or other screen capture tools preferred. + Experience with formal classroom facilitation of content both in-person and virtually. + Application of learning theories, instructional design, and adult learning principles. + Application of compliance and audit requirements. + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Office 365 experience preferred. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written preferred. + Intermediate knowledge and experience in Sales and Customer Service industry experience preferred. + Intermediate knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office and PC skills. + Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, time management, and conflict resolution skills. + Intermediate public-speaking, classroom management, and learning validation skills. + Strong relationship management, organizing, and customer service skills. + Highly proactive, self-starter with the ability to work in a changing environment with strict deadlines. + Ability to quickly learn new software/technology. + Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
