The Instructional Designer is a subject matter expert responsible for authoring robust training programs, courses, and other instructional material for the organization. The Instructional Designer will be instrumental in crafting engaging and impactful facilitator-led and eLearning experiences, utilizing a diverse range of eLearning authoring tools and is proficient using various formats. Essential to success is familiarity with Articulate 360 (Storyline and Rise), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint. The successful candidate will also demonstrate proficiency in Workday Learning; project management methodologies; change management principles, notably ADKAR; and course facilitation.

Essential Responsibilities:

Develop interactive and customized eLearning content using Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise), Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.Develop facilitator-led content that promotes both social and experiential learning.Ensure alignment with instructional design principles and best practices.Leverage in-depth knowledge of Workday Learning for effective Learning Management System (LMS) administration.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate content into the Workday platform.Apply instructional design models, including ADDIE, SAM, and RAPID Prototyping, to craft effective learning experiences.Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather information and design content aligning with organizational goals.Facilitate change management strategies for the seamless adoption of new learning initiatives.Develop and manage Gantt charts to monitor project timelines and milestones.Oversee end-to-end learning programs, from needs assessment through evaluation.Monitor and report on program effectiveness, providing data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.Analyze performance gaps and design learning interventions addressing identified needs.Collaborate with stakeholders to implement solutions enhancing individual and organizational performance.

Supporting Responsibilities:

Meet department and company performance and attendance expectations.Follow the PacificSource privacy policy and HIPAA laws and regulations concerning confidentiality and security of protected health information.Perform other duties as assigned.

SUCCESS PROFILE

Work Experience: Minimum of 4 years creating facilitator-led and eLearning authoring experience using tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, SharePoint, and other eLearning tools. Proven ability to manage end-to-end learning programs required. Experience in both classroom facilitation and change management using the ADKAR model preferred.

Education, Certificates, Licenses: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.

Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Workday Learning and LMS administration. Strong project management skills. Familiarity with instructional design models, including ADDIE, SAM, and RAPID Prototyping. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

Environment: Work inside in a general office setting with ergonomically configured equipment. Travel is required approximately 10% of the time.
