The Learning Experience Specialist will design and develop innovative and impactful learning content and experiences that will help align with and achieve strategic business goals and objectives. This position will work in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment on cross-functional projects that drive measurable and sustained business impact. Experience and skills in adult learning, instructional design, learning technology, and multimedia development are needed to be successful in this role.
Highlights of your role Participates in cross-functional projects, including intake, needs analysis, project planning, and managing stakeholders to deliver timely and effectively learning solutions. Outlines the concept for a course or curriculum, defining the learning needs and objectives, course content, content delivery vehicles, learner knowledge assessments, accompanying materials, and complementary learning approaches.Synthesizes and writes course content based on input from subject matter experts, existing written material, previous training courses, in-depth interviews, etc.Creates a variety of material including but not limited to courses for eLearning delivery platforms, videos, presentations, facilitator guides, participant guides, and reference guides, to support new product and system launches and ongoing product and system education for both internal and external audiences. Holds content review meetings with manager, subject matter experts, and various partners to ensure accuracy and alignment to learning goals and expectations.Reviews and tests content in LMS to ensure course is working properly and that content is up to date, relevant, and following Marvin brand guidelines.Establishes and tracks metrics and benchmarks to assess the effectiveness of training and provide insight to management. Identifies ways to foster collaborative learning environments and grow the organization’s learning presence.Acts in a forward-thinking manner when designing or redesigning instructional learning programs, ensuring that they adhere to adult learning principles/theory, instructional design theory, and related strategies.Fosters positive, interdepartmental relationships while supporting their needs for education product development, delivery, and knowledge.Stays current on learning and development trends to increase effectiveness of programs and retention of knowledge.
