Our team is responsible for building the architecture, plan, and consulting for end-to-end content development. We partner with leaders to manage programs for audiences from Early in Career to VP+ and help these teams realize their business priorities by delivering measurable outcomes through learning solutions.
Job DescriptionWhat you get to do in this role:
As a member of the team, you’ll partner with teammates and key stakeholders to evaluate, design, develop and deliver effective learning solutions to empower ServiceNow employees. You’ll apply knowledge and understanding of the essential aspects of curriculum design and development to execute learning strategies, deliver learning outcomes, and maximize the learning experience.
A successful candidate should be curious, analytical, resourceful, team-oriented, and intrinsically motivated, with a strong instructional design background.
Conduct needs analysis that leads to effective design strategies aligned with company and organizational goals and articulate the measurable business impact of the learning solution. Design high quality learning programs and curriculum strategies for a variety of delivery types (eLearning, video, instructor-led, blended, etc) in partnership with individuals and groups, across multiple organizations. Acquire and synthesize knowledge and information from subject matter experts, process owners, peers, documentation, and other sources to create innovative design strategies. Collaborate with Content Developers in identifying and applying instructional modalities, techniques, and methods for planning, designing, and developing instructional content for highly complex programs. Adhere to appropriate instructional standards and best practices to create storyboards for eLearning and video. Receive and incorporate feedback from peers and subject matter experts. Write scripts for voice-over audio and instructional text and collaborate with Content Developers to turn storyboards and scripts into finished deliverables. Conduct course evaluations to determine the effectiveness of training and incorporate measurement and assessment results into future projects. Anticipate how changes in the organization or industry may impact the team and identify innovations to the way we design, develop, and deliver training. QualificationsTo be successful in this role you have:
Minimum 8+ years’ experience in a training environment, preferably for a Product organization within a major technology company that uses instructional designExperience building large, multi-audience, highly complex learning programs from the ground up. Knowledge of adult learning principles, course development methodologies (ADDIE, SAM), and Kirkpatrick's training evaluation levels. Experience designing and developing a variety of learning offerings: web-based/eLearning, video, instructor-led classes, blended learning, assessments. Demonstrated writing ability with emphasis on writing scripts for eLearning and video narrationA successful formula for collaborating with and extracting knowledge from subject matter experts to create content that achieves the learning objectives. Demonstrated experience with learning and design tools, including eLearning development tools and learning management systems. Articulate Storyline and Rise strongly are a mustPractical use of Camtasia, Wellsaid Labs, Synthesia, Premier Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills coupled with good verbal and written communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary global team with a flexible work style.
