Instructional Designer - Sales Learning

Sales Learning Instructional Designer

 

POSITION OVERVIEW: The Sales Learning Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, delivering and maintaining innovative learning solutions that enhance the skills and knowledge of our sales professionals, resulting in higher productivity.  This role requires a strong understanding of instructional design principle, adult learning theories, and the ability to create engaging, impactful training materials aligned with sales objectives and goals.

 

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Responsibilities 

Instructional Design - Own and manage the analysis and design of learning solutions for multiple sales business units focusing on both tenured and new hire associates.  Conduct learning needs analysis, partnering with business unit operations leadership, sales learning coaches and program management leadership. Communicate regularly with project stakeholders, learners and team members. Continuous Improvement – Perform learning impact analysis using learning department standard techniques, surveys, focus groups and seat rides.  Own the implementation of learning program improvements based on stakeholder feedback and changing program needs. Stay connected to industry trends, emerging technology and industry best practices. Learning Results Evaluation– Identify and implement evaluation strategies to assess program effectiveness. Analyze data and feedback to make data-driven decisions for learning program improvements.  Own and drive other key instructional design projects upon request.

 

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:  Qualifications 

3 - 5 years’ experience in instructional design and development, adult learning theory, technical writing Ability to independently design and develop instructionally sound instructor-led training required Familiarity with Articulate Presenter, Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate or other rapid learning development software. Familiarity with LMS and sales enablement platforms, such as Litmos, Seismic. Advanced PowerPoint skills, including visual presentation design. Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse and multiple stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate will need to be able to handle multiple projects across multiple business areas, with varying degrees of complexity in a fast-moving and complex environment.   Excellent oral and written communication skills, proven negotiation skills, excellent collaborative interpersonal skills, outstanding business presentation (e.g. PPT) Ability to work effectively in a matrix environment.

BS/BS degree Advanced Degree with emphasis in English/Journalism. Advanced Instructional Design certifications. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to work effectively under changing conditions. In depth knowledge of ADP products, services and programs.
