The School of Life Sciences (SOLS) invites applications for one full-time, benefits-eligible, Instructional specialists with a tentative start date of January 6, 2025. Subsequent fiscal year renewals are contingent upon satisfactory performance, availability of resources, and the needs of the unit.
The successful candidates support the School of Life Sciences teaching laboratories (introductory biology, anatomy and physiology, introductory microbiology, etc.) by teaching/instructing on-campus immersion laboratory sections and occasionally online courses:
Applicants should have a broad grasp of biology and experience in teaching and student mentoring. Ideally, applicants demonstrate experience and willingness to work as a team.

Master's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND one year related laboratory experience; OR, Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND three years laboratory or related experience; OR, Seven years of laboratory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
