Noblis is seeking to hire an Instructional Systems Designer with an ACTIVE Top Secret with SCI and Polygraph in Chantilly, VA

 

Professionals in client training and curriculum development are responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating training programs and educational materials to empower clients with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively use products or services. They utilize instructional design principles, adult learning theories, and learning technologies to create engaging and impactful training experiences tailored to the needs of diverse client groups. Typical responsibilities include conducting needs assessments to identify training gaps and learning objectives, developing curriculum outlines, lesson plans, and training materials such as presentations, manuals, and e-learning modules, and delivering training sessions through various modalities, including instructor-led sessions, virtual classrooms, and self-paced learning platforms. Client training and curriculum development roles collaborate closely with subject matter experts, product managers, and sales teams to ensure training programs align with product features, client requirements, and organizational goals. Their expertise in areas such as instructional design, training delivery techniques, learning management systems (LMS), and performance evaluation enables organizations to enhance client satisfaction, drive product adoption, and maximize business outcomes through effective training initiatives.

 

 

Noblis-ESI is seeking an Instructional System Designer with a background in client training and curriculum development to support the National Reconnaissance Office’s (NRO) Mission Integration Directorate (MID).  

Job Responsibilities 

 

Provide skills-based training to users on NRO and Mission Partner equipment, data processors, and software/hardware applications. Provide training using post-event data and product analysis for specific user issues when required.   Provide training on how to apply NRO and related equipment, data, and applications to specific threats or regional issues when required. Recommend training requirements in the areas of NRO equipment and applications use and proficiency for military professional development centers and schools, operational units and national agencies. Building from Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) and Successive Approximation Model (SAM) models, your expertise and creativity will result in new ideas to develop engaging and interactive learning experiences. Your expert communications skills will be critical as you meet regularly with stakeholders to solicit ideas, gather information, ideate on innovative delivery techniques, and incorporate collected feedback throughout the development process. To ensure learning solutions delivered are meaningful and meeting expectations, you will collect and analyze results using various evaluation methodologies, namely the Kirkpatrick Model, then assess and implement adjustments to learning solutions to maximize continuous improvement.  Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Alternatively, demonstrate an additional 4 years of related experience per level if no bachelor's degree is held.  Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counter-Intelligence Polygraph Experience designing training programs based on thorough needs analysis 10% travel required

 

Junior-Level  

Bachelor's degree  0 - 5 years of experience Compensation: $60,400 - $114,375

 

Mid-Level  

Bachelor's degree  5 - 10  years of experience Compensation: $88,500 - $138,300

  

 Senior-Level  

Bachelor's degree 10+ years of experience Compensation: $107,100 - $167,325 Desired Qualifications Master's in Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Familiarity with NRO distance learning platforms Ability to be flexible to handle multiple priorities and to work flexible schedules as necessary Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant Experience in developing learning solutions for Intelligence Community agencies Experience designing and developing Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) - conformant content Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors Strong written and oral communications skills Experience on a team of instructional designers, graphic artists, and programmers in a client-focused consulting environment Experience and working knowledge working in multiple rapid development tools (e.g., Presenter, Captivate, Articulate)  Overview

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
