Instructional Systems Design Lead/ Program Manager Location VA - Falls Church Job Code 12255 # of openings 1 Apply Now (https://phg.tbe.taleo.net/phg04/ats/careers/v2/applyRequisition?org=AKIMEKATECH&cws=43&rid=12255) The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Instruction Systems Design Lead/ Program Manager to support our government customer located in Falls Church, VA. DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES: + The Instructional Systems Design (ISD) Lead shall be responsible for supporting the standardization and quality assurance of the coordination and completion of Tri-Service training products/ programs. + Oversees all aspects of training design and development projects within the scope of this contract . Serves as the technical reference source for subordinate designers and developers, and reviews jobs for overall effectiveness, and gives instructions on alternatives in order to increase productivity + Sets deadlines and assigns responsibilities for all contracted personnel + Provides timelines based on the various phases of assigned projects which, due to their size, scope, and priority, must be segmented and assigned to other members of the training team. The contractor shall provide a project timeline within 10 business days of receiving project approval from the government lead with the Office of Primary Responsibility ( OPR ) draft content package + Receives instructions from customers and establishes objectives , work projects, advises on the technical advantages and disadvantages of various formats, styles, media, and methods of production, and recommends techniques and media for effective portrayal/playability + Provides a quarterly report providing on overview and status update on the development of e-learning courses. The contractor shall provide a Quarterly eLearning Course Development Report within ten (10) days of the end of each quarter + Applies project management, curriculum development and training concepts, practices, and procedures to develop quality assurance in planning processes and ensure consistency of training product quality + Communicates effectively with team members, subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders in support of storyboard development + Leads training team in the development of qualitative and quantitative analysis of training products events and initiatives + Performs a variety of logistical and administrative tasks + Communicates effectively with the COR and Government leads. Provides timely notification on items requiring Government action + Uses ADDIE model and Knowles Principles of Adult Learning Theory to develop and update engaging material for training + Ensures 508 compliance on courseware and other training materials + Displays excellent written and oral communication skills + Reviews training evaluation results to ensure effectiveness of programs; recommends modifications as necessary + Provides input on training curricula and assists with development of materials, activities, and assessments + Provide standardization and quality assurance of the coordination and completion of DHA eLearning training products/programs through the delivery of instructional system design (ISD) expertise. + Develop, maintain, convert, and post web-enabled training courseware, videos, joint knowledge products, and relevant joint information content capabilities. + Provide technical assistance to DHA and its various program office stakeholders eLearning development teams (only for known development tools); + Assist with user accounts and course assignments through elevated user training events. + Manage the complete ADDIE process for all DHA approved courseware projects to include kickoff, intermediate, and final testing meetings, and milestones, and then the hosting of the courseware on the LMS for student enrollment. + Standardization and quality assurance of the coordination and completion of DHA eLearning training products/programs through the delivery of instructional system design (ISD) expertise. + LMS system administration, training, collaboration, and coordination with DHA stakeholders regarding courseware in production, testing, and gate reviews. + Ability to conduct individual and group training and provide appropriate remediation and reinforcement solutions. + Develop, maintain, convert, and post web-enabled training courseware, videos, joint knowledge products, and relevant joint information content capabilities. + Technical assistance to DHA and its various program office stakeholders eLearning development teams (only for known development tools); and + Assist with user accounts and course assignments through elevated user training events. + Manage the complete ADDIE process for all DHA approved courseware projects to include kickoff, intermediate, and final testing meetings, and milestones, and then the hosting of the courseware on the LMS for student enrollment. + Other duties as needed. REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: + Bachelor's degree in education, instruction technology, or similar field REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: + Minimum 6 years of experience executing the full life cycle of the Instructional Systems Design process. + 10 years of experience executing the full life cycle of the Instructional Systems Design (ISD) process may be considered in lieu of the required education. + Possess Ability to conduct individual and group training and provide appropriate remediation and reinforcement solutions + Ability to perform technically detailed LMS administrative tasks + Ability to plan, guide, and manage a group training event REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE: + Must be a U.S. Citizen + Must be able to acquire a Common Access Card (CAC) ​The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) is a fast-growing government service provider.
