Lyon College Seeks a Full-Time Instructional Technologist!

Your Mission:
As our Instructional Technologist, you'll be the ultimate co-op partner for faculty, guiding them through the labyrinth of instructional design. You’ll provide support, training, and insights to ensure every course is a legendary adventure for our students!
Main Quests:
● Troubleshooting Ninja: Solve tech dilemmas faster than a speedrun in your favorite
game!
● Course Designer: Craft in-person and online learning experiences that captivate and
engage, whether in synchronous battles or asynchronous quests.
● Pedagogical Consultant: Use your powers to advise on the design, development, and
implementation of instructional content, courses, and epic projects.
● Online Course Champion: Administer online courses with the precision of a pro gamer,
ensuring faculty have the tools to teach like champions.
Required Gear
● A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field (a master’s is like wielding the Elder
Wand—highly preferred!).
● Experience in designing and building online learning/user experiences that would
impress even the most seasoned players.
Bonus Equipment
● At least two years of experience wielding your instructional technology skills.
● Familiarity with CSS and HTML to add those essential upgrades to your digital toolkit.
