Schedule – Full Time, 8hr shifts, Monday – Friday

As an instructor, you'll have the chance to train and mentor the next generation of automotive professionals in a hands-on learning environment. You'll guide students, helping them build the skills needed for successful careers.

What you will be doing: You’ll be responsible for the career technical training instruction per approved curricula. Also providing training and basic guidance and direction to help students achieve their technical training goals.

Essential functions:

Provide students with direction, instruction, and assistance in designated areas of instruction. Motivate and counsel students in areas of behavior, training, personal problems, or study habits. Develop and prepare lessons in accordance with approved curriculum guidelines, recommend curricula changes and supplemental materials. Review and audit all assigned areas regularly for contractual compliance and effectiveness of delivery of services to students. Prepare related reports.  Maintain organized, clean, and safe training environment. Participate in student assessment panels, perform required documentation and evaluation using CIS (Center Information System) and other documentation systems. 
 

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.   Three (3) years related work experience and ASE certification in Suspension & Steering (A4), Brakes (A5), Electrical/Electronic Systems (A6), and Auto Maintenance & Light Repair (G1).    A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.
