Job Summary
The College of Liberal Arts, School of Public Policy , invites applications for a full-time (1.00 FTE ), 9-month, fixed-term Instructor position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the School Head.
Appointment at the Instructor rank is anticipated; however, appointment at a promoted rank may be considered depending upon the qualifications of the successful candidate.
As a member of the Political Science program in the School of Public Policy in the College of Liberal Arts at Oregon State University, the faculty member is expected to meet or exceed expectations regarding teaching, mentoring, and service duties associated with their appointment.
Excellence is ongoing distinction in teaching, advising, service, or other assigned duties, as evident in continuing development and sustained effectiveness in these areas, new and innovative teaching, curricular development, awards and recognition; and exemplary institutional and professional service, and an appropriate balance between the two.

What You Will Need
+ ABD in Political Science or related field by August 2025
+ Teaching experience at the college/university level.
