**Job Summary:**
Key Responsibilities:
+ Course director for courses within the Program. Role includes teaching and administrative responsibilities and developing syllabi, objectives, teaching strategies, and assessments. Provide curricular logistical support throughout curriculum.
+ Small group facilitator in core courses.
+ Guest lecturer in Program and institutional courses as invited.
+ Assist with the development and administration of assessment cases for 1st-3rd year students at the CAPE Center.
+ Participate in the collection of ongoing program self-evaluation and improvement data for grant writing, accreditation reports and other documents required of the program.

**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies, or equivalent.
+ Graduate of an accredited PA program.
+ Two years of clinical experience.
+ Two years of academic experience, which may be fulfilled by precepting.
+ Documented evidence of development of curricular content.
+ Current NCCPA certification.
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
+ Self-starter, reliable with a strong work ethic.
+ Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.
+ Excellent organization and analytical skills, including attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
+ Ability to meet deadlines, handle multiple priorities and work in a highly collaborative environment as a member of a team.
+ High-level critical/conceptual thinking skills.
+ Knowledge of learning theory and experience with the application in instructional design.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Two (2) years of full-time teaching experience.
+ Three (3) years of experience in a primary care setting.
+ Prior leadership experience.
+ Evidence of scholarly contributions to the profession.
+ Documented experience with curricula design.

The Department of Pediatrics - Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program has an opening for a full-time core faculty member to teach Physician Assistant courses and assist with administrative functions of the program. This position will communicate directly with the Program Director and CHA/PA faculty regarding curriculum objectives, collection of content information, and evaluation.
