Position Summary The Department of Computer Science and Engineering at MSU is seeking a fixed-term Instructor for an undergraduate CSE course, for one semester only. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science and programming education, specifically focusing on C programming. The Teaching Specialist will deliver high-quality instruction, develop engaging course materials, and foster an inclusive and dynamic learning environment. Required Degree Masters -Computer Science or related field Desired Degree Doctorate -Computer Science or related field Minimum Requirements + A PhD in Computer Science or a closely related field is required. + Demonstrated expertise and experience in C programming. + A strong commitment to teaching excellence and the ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse learners effectively. + Experience with educational technologies and tools used in programming instruction. + Proven ability to work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and students. Desired Qualifications Prior teaching experience at the college or university level is preferred.
