Job Summary

The Instructor Services provides safety, security and procedural training for ground handling and/or cargo services.  This would include both initial and recurrent training requirements. Monitors electronic and paper training records.  Instructs station personnel on new procedures, WFS and government safety and security policies, regulations, and directives, and conducts audits. Successful candidate will be based at their station, however primary job function will to be to support training efforts. 

 

Responsibilities Update local training manuals and SOP's as required Computer data entry; preparation or oversight of flight documents interfaces with Transportation Safety Administration, Federal Aviation Administration, local airport authority, and U.S. Customs & Border Patrol Monitoring of import and export documentation and compliance of cargo acceptance procedures with applicable air carrier and Department of Transportation regulations. Successful candidate will be based at their station, however primary job function will to be to support training efforts. Reports to station management with a dotted line to corporate training.Ability to speak clearly and be understood. Work with little or no supervision. Ability to work with all levels of management in communicating issues and making presentations. Reports to work on a regular and timely basis. Minimum Requirements Must be knowledgeable in all Federal Air Regulations pertaining to cargo operations and all Worldwide Flight Services cargo procedures. Comply with WFS site security plan for assigned warehouse. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS reporting program. Must possess leadership qualities.  Preferred Skills Requires strong oral and written communications skills, excellent presentation and interpersonal skills. Some travel required. Ability to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language. Current working knowledge of computer system. Current office/ warehouse operational working experience preferred. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions Push, pull, bend, stoop, twist, turn, reach, crawl, or grip as necessary to demonstrate job functions and operate required equipment. Work in restricted spaces as necessary to demonstrate job functions. Ability to lift 35 lbs. Work in a high noise level environment.
