Location: Bowling Green, KY Category: Faculty Posted On: Tue Feb 4 2025 Job Description: The Management Department in the Gordon Ford College of Business is seeking applications for a nine-month, full-time, temporary appointment commencing in Fall 2025, for an Instructor of Entrepreneurship. The position will be for a one-year term and may be renewed based upon satisfactory performance, sufficient enrollment, programmatic need, and available resources. The anticipated start date for this position would be August 11, 2025. The successful candidate will be expected to: + Teach twelve hours (4 courses) each semester during the regular academic year. Courses the successful candidate may be asked to teach include basic entrepreneurship, business modeling, small business management, innovation management, and other courses within the entrepreneurship curriculum. Courses would primarily be delivered in face-to-face format on the Bowling Green campus. + Assist with coaching students in business model and business plan competitions and travel with students to competitions (as needed). + Help create and execute programming hosted by the Department, both on campus and in the community. + Assist in advising a student club or organization (as needed). + Participate in outreach opportunities within the community. + Other service activities may include service to the department, college, university, industry, and professional groups, and/or outreach to the surrounding community. The entrepreneurship concentration, minor, and certificate in creativity and innovation are housed in the Management Department in the Gordon Ford College of Business. The basic entrepreneurship course in the entrepreneurship curriculum is part of the Colonnade Systems Curriculum and reaches approximately 600 students in face-to-face and online formats each academic year. Job Requirements: + MBA or master's degree in a related discipline. + Business experience, experience starting or managing entrepreneurial ventures, consulting related to small business start-up or expansion, or prior experience in developing and teaching entrepreneurship curriculum.
