The School of Music in the
College of Music and Performing Arts at Belmont University is seeking
applications for a non-tenure track faculty position in Applied Commercial
Voice at the rank of Instructor or Professor of Practice, beginning August 1,
2025.
The primary responsibilities
for this position include providing instruction in undergraduate and graduate
commercial applied voice. Other courses in performance and style and or/direction
of a vocal ensemble in the commercial genre may be included based on
candidate’s background and area of expertise. An annual teaching load would
include a combination of applied lessons and academic courses equaling a
24-hour teaching workload. Additional primary responsibilities include academic
advising, maintaining scholarly/creative endeavors, student recruitment, and
performing department, college, and university service.
