The instructor maintains technical skills and knowledge of current practice. Is a member of the University of Mary academic faculty with professorial rank. **What You'll Do:** + Teach and develop classroom and laboratory courses assigned by the program director; evaluate student achievement. + Provide student academic advising. + Attend University of Mary faculty workshops, graduation ceremonies, and other academic meetings as requested. + Coordinate recruitment activities involving the assignment of students to high school and college classes for publicity and recruitment activities + Engage in professional development and scholarly activities **Qualifications** + Master’s Degree or in progress + Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care; active license in the state of North Dakota. 2-years full-time experience as an RRT;; 2-years clinical teaching experience in a CoARC accredited respiratory therapy program. + Current technical respiratory therapy skills. Curriculum design, development and evaluation skills. Academic advising and student counseling skills. Management and organizational skills. Computer skills (MS Office, Internet, email, clinical tracking and documentation software.
