About the position:
The Instrument and Electrical Reliability Engineering (I&E) Lead will lead a team of Instrument and Electrical Reliability Engineers at the Chevron ENGINE Center. These roles will support Chevron�s Refineries and Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) assets. This role forms part of a larger Reliability and Integrity network across Chevron.
Key responsibilities:
Provide and demonstrate a safe and respectful work environment for the team
Execute and monitor Chevron's Performance Management Process' across the team; support the development of your team members in their roles
Understand the priorities of our operating facilities and communicates priorities to the team
Implement existing Chevron processes and systems in support of required work activities
Support in activities covering maintenance strategy development and improvement initiatives; develop & optimize maintenance strategies, develop and maintain maintenance procedures & process, review threats & deficiencies, manage technical analyses of threats & procurement queries for instrument deficiencies, conduct replacement in kind (RIK) assessments, perform valve health monitoring, review and update standards, and perform queries for maintenance, technical and procurement
Ensure the base business work practices, applications, data, and tools are effective and efficient to meet Chevron and industry requirements while enabling quality timely outputs in support of Chevron�s operating facilities
Monitor Key Performance Indicators around the effectiveness of equipment, work processes, data and tools
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (such as Operations, Technical, Routine Maintenance, Turnaround and Projects) to achieve the Reliability Engineering Team, Department and Asset goals to improve asset reliability
Ensure lessons learned are shared and incorporated into the Reliability Engineering Team, Department and Assets as appropriate systems for sustainability
Foster an inclusive environment both within the team and with the other functions and business units
Required qualification:
Bachelor�s degree in instrumentation or electrical engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) from a deemed/recognized (AICTE) university
Minimum of 10-15 years relevant experience performing I&E Reliability Engineering in an Oil & Gas operating environment
Demonstrated supervisory experience will be highly regarded
