Focus: The Instrument and Electrical (I&E) Subject Matter Expert (SME) is responsible for providing support and mentorship to Instrument and Electrical Technicians along with applying technical expertise to troubleshoot failures, implement repairs, and evaluate instrumentation. 


Instrument and Electrical SME Essential Job Functions:

Assist in planning and scheduling of maintenance activities, and development of PPMs and spare parts strategies Effectively coach contractor workforce and direct Olin employees in execution of maintenance work during production outages and support quality control for the work performed; support learning, development, and personal growth of I&E personnel within the maintenance zone Develop, review, and implement maintenance procedures; train personnel on procedure use Provide advanced troubleshooting and maintain a variety of instrument and electrical equipment from 120V to 15,000V. This will include motors, process instrumentation, pneumatics, automated valves, turbine control systems, SIS loops, etc. Provide Subject matter expertise including support of Root Cause Analysis, support of maintenance and improvement projects, Failure Modes & Effect Analysis (FMEA) and development of maintenance KPIs with maintenance teams 
Maintain schematic drawings, P&IDs, electrical one-lines
Instrument and Electrical SME Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree* in Instrumentation Technology, Industrial Electricity or related discipline preferred Minimum of 7 years of instrument and electrical experience in an industrial environment; experience in a chemical manufacturing facility preferred Proficient in troubleshooting and calibrating instrumentation using test instruments such as multimeters, smart communicators, and pressure instruments
Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and SAP Ability to work well with others, be self-directed, and apply creative solutions to unique I&E problems  Advanced ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical one-lines, logic drawings, technical manuals, and P&ID's Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred   Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US Driver's license
