The Instrument & Electrical Designer working under the supervision of the Design and Construction Lead will be responsible for all aspects of capital project electrical and instrumentation design. Adhering to corporate REPs along with ensuring department work process procedures are followed from concept to construction. This position will also be the point person for all I&E contract designers on site or Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) contractors.

Associate Degree in Design, Drafting or Engineer Tech Lead a team of designers and drafters by organizing and delegating tasks to efficiently complete projects Must be able to function with minimal supervision Advanced proficiency of SPI (Smart Plant Instrumentation) CAD experience (10+ yrs) Knowledge of computer software systems (SAP) used for project, tracking, cost controls and reporting Able to interact and work with a diverse work group (Mechanical Craftsman, Engineers, Contractors) Must be able to play a leading role in a project design team Desire to learn is extremely important
The Ponca City Refinery is located in Ponca City, Oklahoma, approximately 95 miles northwest of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Its facilities include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, alkylation, hydrodesulfurization and delayed coking units. The refinery processes a mixture of light, medium and heavy crude oil delivered via pipeline from Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, the U.S. Rockies and Canada. Infrastructure improvements have enabled the delivery of locally produced crude oil by pipeline and truck. The refinery produces a high percentage of transportation fuels and anode-grade petroleum coke. Refined products are primarily distributed to customers by company-owned and common carrier pipelines to markets throughout the Midcontinent region.
