Posting Description

INSTRUMENT SYSTEMS WORKER (HVAC), Facilities-Repair and Maintenance (multiple openings), to be responsible for repairing and maintaining heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, and refrigeration for the Institute’s buildings and equipment. Will inspect and test heating and air conditioning systems to ensure proper functioning; troubleshoot, repair, and install electronic temperature control systems, electronic circuitry, and other building system equipment; maintain, diagnose, and repair microprocessors and associated instrumentation related to building automation systems; perform tests and adjustments of input and output devices and setup and maintain history and documentation files; troubleshoot electronic circuitry; receive work order assignments, order materials, and complete tasks accurately with detailed written comments provided on work orders upon completion; complete time entry to supervisor on a daily basis with comments; perform scheduled preventative maintenance on building equipment; clean work area and maintain tools and equipment; and provide customers with information about the progress of work.
