Instrumentation and Control Engineer

The Instrumentation and Control Engineer is responsible for the operation of all Programmable Logic Control, Instrumentation and Control related equipment of the plant.

Performs corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance of PLC, Instrumentation & Control related equipment in accordance to accepted standards and procedures. Installs related operational devices to support INYOvation projects, Benchmarks, and Strategic Plans. Studies and suggests improvements for all PLC, Instrumentation & Control related equipment Submits related reports on electronic maintenance and equipment status. Reports any abnormalities and problems concerning the assigned task and makes necessary recommendations if possible. Prepares guidelines and procedures relating to SCADA. Coordinates the implementation of PLC and Instrumentation & Control planned maintenance with IT, plant engineers or superiors. Facilitates the calibration of PLC and Instrumentation & Control equipment. Monitors and requests necessary spares for all PLC Instrumentation & Control equipment in the plants. Ensures that the Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and determination of Controls (ORMP)/Aspect Impact Assessment are properly implemented. Performs quarterly inspection of all SCADA and CMMS equipment and submits report accordingly. Performs downloading of SCADA data and provide back up at the file server regularly. Provides budget proposal for all OT devices maintenance plan. Ensures completion of plans within budget and timeline. Assess all OT devices (PLC, HMIs, Sensors, etc) in relation to Obsolescence and provide necessary plans
