Client is looking for Instrumentation Designer

Industry: Petrochemical, EPC, Oil & Gas
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia

Requirements/Qualification: 10-15 years of experience Must have solid design experience and SmartPlant suite applications, SPF,SPI. Must have strong expertise in SmartPlant Instrumentation, as a user Should be skilled in MicroStation and Excel Able to handle drafting flexible and willing to handle drafting, documentation, coordination, typing, data handling, and publishing tasks. Occasionally, the role may require document scanning for extended periods. Proactive, intelligent, software savvy, good communicator, and a quick learner. Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner Experience with Middle East projects Design EPC contractors experience.
Responsibilities: Design and develop instrumentation systems for petrochemical projects, including control systems, process measurement, and automation equipment. Prepare detailed design documents, including instrumentation specifications, data sheets, and P&IDs (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define project scope, deliverables, timelines, and budgets. Conduct technical reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Participate in site surveys and feasibility studies to determine project requirements and technical solutions. Provide support during the installation, commissioning, and testing phases, ensuring all systems operate effectively and safely. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest technologies and industry trends in instrumentation and control. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues during project execution.
