Ventia has an exciting opportunity for experienced and qualified Instrumentation Electricians, this position will be FIFO from Perth with the main shutdown commencing on the 21st March.

Shutdown dates:
Pre shutdown – Commences on the 21st March (12-hour days) 2/2 Roster Main shutdown – Commences on the 1st June (12-hour days) 2-3 weeks Post shutdown works will commence at the completion of the main shutdown (12-hour days) 2/2 Roster

About Ventia:
Ventia is seeking experienced & qualified Electrical and Instrumentation technicians. This casual role will see you working FIFO out of Perth as part of the Barrow Island Turnaround team on Chevron's 2025 turnaround (TAR 112) and as opportunities arise to join future shutdowns, campaign maintenance and frontline teams.
What you’ll need:
Essential
Certificate III or IV in Engineering – Instrumentation WA unrestricted licence White card EEHA valid within 3 years CPR/LVR valid within 1 year Operate breathing apparatus
Desirable
Provide first aid Industry Safety Induction High Voltage Operation
What you will bring:
Experience in maintenance and fault finding activities Knowledge of hydrocarbon production systems and associated hazards Experience in calibration, isolation and stroking valves Understanding of gas compression and power generation systems Experience maintaining and operating critical instrumentation Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team environment Safety – first mindset following safety protocols and hazard procedures
