Instrumentation Lead

A prominent global client in the Oil and Gas sector is on the lookout for an INSTRUMENTATION LEAD to develop specifications for the installation, performing Hook-up standards, supervising the 3D model development for the instrumentation and telecom purposes for the Kaminho Project, based in Chennai, INDIA.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: The development of main and secondary cable trays (including support) on which you will be mobilized in compliance with the requirements of contracts, international norms and standards, as well as the internal rules of the “Control & Instrumentation” Department (PLEN/INS). As part of the project, you will be responsible for the development of specifications related to the installation, development of standards (e.g. hook-up, support standard, etc.), level sketches, main instrumentation and telecommunications cable trays using the AVEVA E3D tool. Creation of technical room plans (instrumentation, telecommunications, CCR, etc.). MTO/BOQ development with associated weights. Cables list development and their assignments into the drums. You will be in charge of your multidisciplinary interfaces within the project (e.g.: piping, structure, electricity, etc.) or which may be multi-sites. You will participate in the development or improvement of installation standards. You will develop progress on the development of the 3D model. Participation to model reviews.
QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS: Accredited bachelor’s degree / equivalent technical qualification in Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum at least 5 to 15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas field and in this role. Must have experience in 3D modelization or using Naviswork, hook-up, cables routing or schedules, participation to weight report. Knowledge of Naviswork, Tekla and AutoCAD software would be a plus.
