Whatever your skills and experience, we’ll help you to thrive in our inclusive culture. **Purpose of role** + To apply technical, process, Continuous Improvement and Individual/team development skills to optimize overall brewery Improvement and plant performance. + Effective use of maintenance systems data + Assure the integrity of control and information systems through security and redundant system backups. + Deliver and improve performance targets in safety, quality, service, cost and asset care. + Drive MMS at shift level + Support both control and instrumentation execution systems. **Accountabilities** + Commit to Occupational Health and Safety Standards. Frequently state and articulate that safety by always behaving in a safe manner and always challenging unsafe practice and behavior of others, reprimanding where appropriate. Adhere strictly to the site and safety rules and system and equipment operational procedures. + Provide comprehensive production service on plant and equipment to which they are primarily allocated; operating and cleaning, carry out maintenance schedules, responding to breakdowns, assessing, and monitoring plant performance on daily basis and attending to all other duties in timely manner. + Deliver best possible plant operations by maximizing plant availability and efficiency of operation through execution of Planned Preventative maintenance Schedules. + Monitor and maintain adequate storage of Water for use in the brewery. + Monitor and Log accurately, all the necessary parameters of the various equipment eg. Temperature, pressure, current, voltage etc. + Manage materials component and spares required by their plant and equipment - includes draw down stocks from locally provided bins and accountable for water stock is drawn down. + Demonstrate flexibility, attitude, and work practices, and assist colleagues in breakdowns, maintenance and solving problem on their equipment Set up and operate test equipment to evaluate performance of the equipment. + Carry out conditional monitoring of machines, or systems under simulated operating conditions, and record results. + Build, calibrate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment. + Write commissioning procedures for electrical and instruments installations. + Document work orders and ensure that root cause analyses are recorded and documented for Electrical/instrumentation failures. + Carryout equipment criticality to identify PMs gaps and develop plan for improvement. + Drive asset care best practices to improve equipment performances. + Ensuring quality and food safety requirement are through embedding quality and food safety culture in Ways of working. + Ensuring quality and food safety requirement are through embedding quality and food safety culture in Ways of working. + Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment, appliances, and apparatus. + Assembling, evaluating, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus. + Understands and uses MMS principles tools and techniques, contributing positively to MMS ITFs + Support Utilities Engineer to achieve production plans and key performance targets, and deliver agreed customer service Levels + Actively attend training and development on an individual and team basis and participate in competency-based training programs and develop positive relationships with colleagues including contractors + Compile and commentate whatever reports are required - either original report or those generated automatically. This includes status sheets, check sheets, condition monitoring sheets etc + Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit blueprints, diagrams, and schematics. **Qualification and experience required.** + FTC or Diploma in Electrical Engineering + 3 Years experience/competence in operations, maintenance, process control and performance measurement in a brewery or drinks or food manufacturing environment· **Diversity statement** Our purpose is to celebrate life, every day, everywhere.
