Rotation: This position is based on a shift of 8 days on, 6 days off, working 10-hour shifts per day.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safety, Regulatory & Compliance
• Maintain a high standard of safety by ensuring policies and procedures are followed in relation to operations and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain familiarity with site Specific Emergency Response Plan
Technical Expertise
• E/I trade tickets (Electrical/ Instrumentation dual ticket) Preferred
• Instrumentation trade ticket required.
• Delta V Control system experience Preferred
• Demonstrated experience in control system trouble shooting
• Demonstrated experience in AER D17 Measurement reporting
• Experience with Natural gas compression greater than 1000 hp
• Comply with the Pressure Equipment Integrity Programs.
• Understand the various regulatory frameworks that ATCO EnPower operates under.
• Responsible for facility housekeeping duties as required.
• Support internal customers including Accounting, Engineering, Project Execution and Business Development with business initiatives.
• Represent ATCO’s core values within the communities and industries we serve.
• On-call duties as required.
Maintenance & Planning
• Facilities include Wells which consists of pumps, dehydration towers, JT Plants, stabilizer, hot oil system, flares, incinerators, reboilers, tanks, instrument air, delta V control systems, pressure piping, vessels, compressors, wellheads, well sites and below ground pipelines.
• Identify maintenance requirements and follow processes to ensure repairs are completed through Maximo.
WHO YOU ARE:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• E/I trade tickets (Electrical/ Instrumentation dual ticket) preferred
• Instrumentation trade ticket required.
• Minimum of 5 -7 years relevant experience
• Gas Plant Experience (GPO) and/or Dehydrator experience (FPO) would be an asset.
• Experience working within an Operation Team in a remote facility is preferred.
• A strong understanding of safety and regulatory requirements
• Efficient computer skills with a good working knowledge of MS Office and plant control systems
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
• Live within an approximately 30 minute drive to the Carbon Gas Plant.
• This position is a Safety-Sensitive position and has additional pre-employment requirements as identified in the Alcohol & Drug Policy 6.2.3 Applicant Testing.
