Job Title: Metal Detection Service Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Detection Service Technician to join our team in Newton, KS. The ideal candidate will have a strong electronics experience and be responsible for the setup, inspection, diagnostic support, and PLC programming of metal detection equipment. This role involves significant travel to customer sites to assist with installations, start-up training, and equipment debugging.

Work Environment

This position requires traveling for 3 out of 4 weeks each month, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered. The role is hourly and requires strong customer service orientation. You must be solid in front of customers and provide excellent phone technical support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $83200.00

401(k) PLAN (eligibility first of the month following 30 days of employment)
- Employees may contribute between 4% and 60% of their pre-tax dollars to a pre-determined annual maximum. Enrollment is automatic on the first day of the month following 30 days of employment. Discretionary employer match is $0.50 on the employee’s behalf for every $1.00 the employee defers up to 6% of annual compensation. Vesting schedule: 100% vested at 3 yrs. of service.
