Position Overview:

As an Instruments Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue for our advanced instrument solutions in Seoul. You will resolve and implement strategies to penetrate and expand the market, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results. Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Generation: Achieve and closely exceed sales targets by identifying, developing, and closing high-value sales opportunities in the Seoul market.Sales Strategy Development: Develop and flawlessly implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the instrument market, targeting clinical, academic, and industrial sectors.Key Account Management: Manage relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer happiness and retention through proven account management practices.Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, working collaboratively with marketing and product teams to introduce new solutions to untapped sectors.Collaboration: Work closely with technical support, product management, and marketing teams to develop customized solutions for clients and ensure smooth product delivery and post-sale support.Reporting: Regularly report sales performance metrics, market trends, and client feedback to the APAC Sales Director.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or a related field (Master's or equivalent experience preferred).Minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the life sciences or biotechnology industry, with a focus on molecular diagnostics or instrument technology.Experience working with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and managing relationships with large accounts such as hospitals, research institutions, etc.

Skills & Capabilities:

Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of instrument technology and its applications in diagnostics, research, and industry.Sales Leadership: Demonstrated capability to develop and implement sales strategies, oversee major accounts, and guide a team in attaining challenging sales goals.Communication & Negotiation: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels and build long-lasting customer relationships.Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Korean biotech and molecular diagnostics market, including trends, competitors, and regulatory requirements.Customer Focused: Ability to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions that drive customer happiness and dedication.Skilled in analysis and driven to deliver successful outcomes: Data-driven approach to sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance measurement.

Other Requirements:Proficiency in both written and spoken Korean and English.Willingness to travel within Korea and occasionally internationally for meetings and conferences.Strong understanding of the regulatory environment in Korea related to molecular diagnostics and biotechnology products.
