Insulation Superintendent Description: ALCAL SPECIALTY CONTRACTING, INC. IS CURRENTLY ACCEPTING RESUMES FOR AN INSULATION SUPERINTENDENT POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Salary LOCATION: Tucson, AZ WAGE SCALE: $60,000-$85,000 (Depends on experience) BENEFITS & PERKS: + Medical, Dental, Vision & Retirement plans + Paid time off - Vacation, Sick & Holidays + Monday- Friday Schedule + Room for growth and be a part of an amazing team RESPONSIBILITIES: + Supervises a crew of installers, including hiring, terminating, evaluations and disciplinary action. + Schedules jobs daily and prepares daily load sheets. + Supervises loading procedures ensuring that installers have proper materials, equipment and safety gear. + Visits job sites and reviews work in progress in terms of productivity and safety standards. + Uses daily load sheets and incoming materials to keep accurate inventory control. + Reviews WIP and plans future projects, ensuring that materials are available. + Conducts safety meetings on a regular basis, and reviews equipment for maintaining safety standards. + Up to 50% travel to local job sites + Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies and ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected. + Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: + Three years experience installing within the Insulation trade, and one year of supervisory experience highly preferred but not required. + Experience project managing jobs and crews. + Experience in the Commercial Construction field strongly desired. + OSHA 30 certificate desirable. + Requires good verbal and written communications skills and a professional manner in dealing with customers and employees. + Valid AZ driver’s license with a good driving record. + Regular attendance is required.
