Insulation Technician – Weekly Pay – Career Advancement

 

Job Description: We are seeking an Insulation Technician to work in commercial buildings, installing insulation. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with attic insulation, small spaces, ladders, crawling, and working on hands and knees. Work is typically within a 60-mile radius, with occasional travel for larger projects. When traveling out of town, hotel accommodations are provided, along with a $25/day per diem for food.

Key Responsibilities:

Install insulation in commercial, multi-family, industrial, and residential new build homes.Work in various environments, which may not always be climate-controlled.Travel with the crew to job sites, meeting at the shop every morning at 6 am.Use ladders and work in small spaces, including attics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Preferred: At least 6 months of experience in the construction field.Valid driver's license required; clean driving record preferred for higher pay.Ability to read and follow instructions, work orders, and blueprints.Experience with spray guns (automotive or house painting) is a plus.Must show ambition, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

Hours: Monday through Friday, 6 am - 4/5 pm; weekends optional with no cap on overtime.Work in large or small groups depending on project size.10% travel with overnight stays; majority of work in Sioux Falls, Sioux City, and Brookings.Paid for one-way drive time; additional $25/day per diem if returning home after 8 pm.Two paid 15-minute breaks and an optional 30-minute unpaid lunch.
