Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to departmental requests for administrative assistanceAssist in maintaining files and records in eMMA and set up client shells in SagittaProvide clerical assistance with copying, faxing, mass mailings, assembling binders and scanning files as neededDownload department mail from insurance carrier websites dailySort, scan and distribute via ImageRight Tasks mail and communications dailyProcess Loss Run reportsRequest loss runs based on monthly reports and in accordance with the carrier’s requirementsFollow up with the carrier or wholesaler until loss run is received and filed in electronic filing systemInform Client Administrator/ Manager if the loss run will be delayedEstablish and maintain effective working relations with other associatesDevelop familiarity with the department, its functions, and associatesIdentify needs and competencies to be acquired for advancement, and make use of appropriate training opportunitiesCommunicate system or process related problems to supervisorEnroll in an AIS or AINS designation courseEarn a P&C Producers license upon completion of the programOther duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Required:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and working knowledge in Word, Outlook and PowerPoint1+ years in office or customer service environmentAbility to effectively communicate, both written and verbally, with internal and external partiesExcellent time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detailAbility to build and maintain effective relationships with carriers, peers and clientsAbility to work independently and in cross-functional teams
